Days that mark not just the beginning of an academic year but the shaping of futures. Orientation Day 2025 at <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/srmuniversity.ac.in\/\">SRM University<\/a> Delhi-NCR, Sonepat<\/strong> was one such day. It was not just a formal gathering, but a celebration of hope, ambition, and the journey that every new student is about to undertake.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Arrival_and_Welcome\"><\/span><b>Arrival and Welcome<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The morning carried with it an air of anticipation. Transport had been arranged so that students and families could arrive with ease, and by 10 AM, the campus was alive with voices, footsteps, and smiles that spoke of nervous excitement. For many, this was their very first introduction to university life, and the warmth with which they were welcomed made it clear that SRM Sonepat is not just an institution but a home for dreams.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Awe-Gazing_Beginning\"><\/span><b>The Awe-Gazing Beginning<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The programme began in the Auditorium of the New Academic Block. The lamp lighting ceremony, graced by esteemed guests, was more than just a tradition. It felt symbolic, a flame that would guide students through years of discovery and growth. The cultural performance that followed added colour to the morning, reminding everyone that SRMUH is a place where art, culture, and talent find as much space as academics.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As guests were felicitated, the atmosphere became even more personal. The Welcome Address by our Director of Admissions and Outreach set the tone. His words reminded students and parents that this university does not just prepare young minds for careers but for lives filled with purpose.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When our Hon\u2019ble Vice-Chancellor addressed the gathering, the hall fell into complete silence. There was something deeply moving about the way he spoke, not as an administrator but as a mentor, reassuring each student that they are now part of a family that will nurture them. The Special Address by the Director of Institutional Development of SRM Group, followed by the Presidential Address by the Vice-Chairperson and Managing Director, carried the same warmth. These were not speeches to impress; they were conversations, full of sincerity and vision.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Scholarship_Awards\"><\/span><b>Scholarship Awards<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One of the most emotional moments of the day came with the Scholarship Awards. Watching bright students being recognised for their hard work was not only inspiring but also deeply touching. It reminded us all that dedication and perseverance never go unnoticed at SRM Sonepat. Parents in the audience looked on with pride, and many eyes glistened with quiet tears of joy.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Closing_Ceremony\"><\/span><b>Closing Ceremony<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Vote of Thanks by the Registrar and Dean of Academic Affairs brought the formal part of the ceremony to a close, yet it felt like an opening chapter of countless stories yet to be written. The National Anthem followed, and in that moment, standing together in respect and unity, we all felt the weight of belonging to something larger than ourselves.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Lunch_and_Enrolment\"><\/span><b>Lunch and Enrolment<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lunch was served soon after, and laughter filled the campus lawns. Strangers turned into friends, parents exchanged stories, and students began to find comfort in the fact that they were not alone in their journey. By afternoon, the enrolment process began, but even this official task carried an energy of excitement, for each form signed was a step into a future waiting to be built.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"A_Day_to_Remember\"><\/span><b>A Day to Remember<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Looking back, what made Orientation Day 2025 so memorable was not just the programme, the speeches, or the schedule. It was the feeling of being together, students, parents, faculty, and leaders, all united by a common purpose. There was pride, yes, but also humility. There was joy, but also responsibility.
