Electronics & Communication Engineering

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was established in 2013. The department offers B.tech, M.tech, and Ph.D. courses. Degree Programme; at the postgraduate level, we offer M. Tech and Ph.D. degrees. The department maintains active research groups for carrying out collaborative and interdisciplinary research. We have state-of-the-art lab facilities to support our academic Programmes and research. Devices designed by Electronic Engineers feature in all aspects of modern life, including computers, mobile phones, robotics, the internet, digital television, satellites, aerospace, medical scanners, security systems, IoT, etc. The department faculties are committed to teaching fundamental concepts and the latest trends to enhance and strengthen the learning process. The students are also taught critical thinking and problem-solving skills so that they can easily take the next step, that is, their professional lives with confidence. In addition to classroom teaching, the students are guided and motivated to practically implement the principles learned in classrooms through experimentations in the laboratories on the latest technologies.

  • The fundamental engineering analysis skills, which makes them able to apply the knowledge of computing, mathematical foundations, algorithmic principles, and computer science and engineering theory in the modeling and design of computer-based systems to real-world problems.
  • The Information retrieval skills, which make them able to design and conduct experiments, as well as analyze and interpret the data.
  • The Creative Skills to design, which make them able to implement and evaluate an electronics & communication engineering based system, component are process to meets desired needs within realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability and sustainability.
  • The Engineering Problem Solving Skills, which make them able to formulate and apply appropriate techniques, resources and to solve complex electronics & communication engineering problems.
  • The Professional Integrity, which make them able to understand the professional ethics and responsibilities towards the society.
