The Faculty of Law, SRM University Delhi NCR Sonepat organized an “Mediation and Negotiation Workshop” for final year students on 25th and 26th September, 2023 for the whole day. The keynote speaker/Mediator was Mr. Jonathan Rodrigues Certified Mediator (India / UK) Co-founder, The PACT LLM (Mediation & Conflict Resolution) Editorial Consultant, Mediate.com Author, Mediation Simplified Co-coordinator, People and Culture Association and Mr. Gokul Narayan Chief Operations Officer at Asian School of Cyber Laws. The welcome address was given by Dr. Vijay Kumar Singh Professor Faculty of Law and then he invited the keynote speakers to address the audience.

Mr. Gokul Narayan Chief Operations Officer at Asian School of Cyber Laws Chief Operations Officer at Asian School of Cyber Laws discussed in detail difference between litigation and Alternative dispute resolution methods specifically Mediation and negotiation. Mr. Jonathan Rodrigues explains the characteristics of a mediator should have in his or her nature. After that the Training Programme was conducted as per the training manual of two days of Mediators. The event was successful and around 97 students participated in the event.
