World Food Day celebration- 20, Oct 2022

The world food day was celebrated by the department on 22.10.22 in the campus. The students worked to promote awareness and action for the people suffering from hunger and for the need to ensure healthy diets for all on the topic “Leaving no one Behind” and “Nutritious grain-Millets”. The students actively participated in various events like Quiz, Recipe Competition and Poster Making where they beautifully showcased their knowledge in anticipation with their talents. The students were motivated and geared by our esteemed guests and judges Prof. (Dr.) Rakesh Dubey, Dean FSH and Dr. Ajit Kumar, HoD Chemistry and other faculty members of FSH school. The students were able to acquire the meaning of sustainable world where everyone, everywhere has regular access to enough nutritious food, no one should be left behind. The students gained apprehensive expertise and realised millets as treasure trove of nutrition. Also, the department established the incrEDIBLE Alliance as their activity club where students were involved with co-curricular responsibilities.
