About the Conference

The Department of Civil Engineering, SRM University, Delhi-NCR, Sonepat is happy to announce the 1st International Conference on “Structural Integrity and Interactions of Materials in Civil Engineering Structures – (SIIMCES2025)” to be held from 21-23 May 2025. The conference will be organized on the University premises (hybrid mode). The SIIMCES-25 aims to explore the structural integrity and interactions of materials in civil engineering structures, fostering collaboration among researchers, practitioners, and industry experts to advance knowledge and innovation in material performance, durability, and safety. The scope encompasses a wide range of topics, including the examination of mechanical, thermal, and chemical properties of construction materials, factors influencing their longevity under various environmental conditions, and the development of innovative and sustainable materials. Participants will discuss performance assessment methods, design integration, and real-world case studies showcasing successful applications. Additionally, the conference will address current standards and regulations to ensure that advancements in material science effectively contribute to the civil engineering field, bridging the gap between theory and practical implementation.

Abstract Submission

  • Abstracts will be reviewed and the authors of the accepted abstract will be allowed to submit the manuscript on author services at the proceeding website

Instructions to the author

  • At least one of the authors for each article accepted in the paper will attend the conference. English is the official language for both oral presentations and printed documents.
  • Only the conference presented articles will be processed to the publisher (Scopus indexed Journal) for publication as part of Procedia. The paper will not be considered for publication without full author registration and presentation after the conference.
  • The selected papers will be published in Open Access with a non-commercial user license in a dedicated issue. Therefore, after peer review, papers will be indexed in Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar.
  • Ensure your article is original, has not been published elsewhere, and is not currently under review for any other publication. Also, disclose any potential conflicts of interest related to your submission. Procedia contains no libellous, unlawful, or otherwise actionable matter.
  • No information, formula, or procedure contained in the manuscript is inaccurate and the material contained in the manuscript would not cause injury if accurately used or followed.
  • To maintain the integrity of the contributions, any submission with a similarity index of more than 20% (excluding reference) will be rejected at the initial stage.
  • At any stage of the submission process, if the organizer feels that the manuscript doesn’t comply with the publishers'/journal standards, it will not be considered for subsequent publication.
  • Each paper shall consist of a minimum of 4 (four) pages and a maximum of 8 (eight) pages, according to the template.
