The third session is on ‘Becoming a reflective practitioner for effective teaching & learning’ by Prof. (Dr.) Vijay Kumar Singh, Dean, Faculty of Law.  Sir commence the session by quoting the words of ‘Ralph W. Tyler’.

“Learning takes place through the active behaviour of the students: it is what he does that he learns, not what the teacher does.”

Sir emphasizes that reflection is going back and thinking about the past. He describes the obstacles to reflection for us. In addition, Sir enlighten us on the three theories of teaching and learning. The first theory is teaching is how students learn.
