Metal catalyzed as well as metal-free C-H activation/functionalization. Design and synthesis of a wide range of N & O containing bioactive heterocyclic compounds. Microwave-assisted synthesis. Metal catalyzed reactions for the synthesis of biologically active compounds. Multi-step synthesis

Qualified for the joint CSIR-UGC NET test and secured 44 ranks in the subject of Chemical Science under Eligibility for Lectureship (NET) in 2012. Qualified for the GATE examination in 2014 with an India rank of 958. Awarded Junior Research fellowship (UGC-JRF) with all India rank 54 in the subject Chemical Science in 2014. Awarded Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) in 2016.

R&D / Industrial Projects

The project entitled “Visible light-mediated CO? fixation for the synthesis of valuable heterocyclic molecules under mild reaction conditions” has been awarded under the Teachers Associateship For Research Excellence (TARE) scheme of SERB-DST.
